April 4 --Easter Sunday Happy Easter April 10 -- Saturday --Boulder Day Outing-- 10 am Let's meet and carpool up to Boulder to visit their famous Farmer's Market then take a free tour of the Boulder Homemade Ice Cream Factory. April 14 -- Wednesday -- Meeting/Party 7 pm At the lower level of Cabrini Church Center (Chatfield /Pierce) by popular request, we will be having our annual BUNCO party. No worries-we will teach this very easy game. Prizes of course. PLUS we will be hosting a PAPERBACK BOOK EXCHANGE. Bring your books to swap. This is an economical way to have "new" reading material for the summer. And to top off this magical night, we will provide a FREE meat/cheese platter with drinks for snacking. All are invited. April 17 -- Saturday -- Breakfast with Dan 9 am Our monthly drop-in breakfast at the 4-G's restaurant (5050 S. Platte Canyon Rd.) in Littleton. It's reasonably priced with good sized portions and great company to boot. No RSVP required just show up. April 17 -- Saturday --Sock Hop Ice Cream Social 7:30-11 pm Mile Hi Spirited Singles (formerly YESS group) will be hosting a sock hop Tom and Larry from the Nacho Men band will be the live entertainment. Only $15.00 at the Denver Kickers Club (16776 W 50th Av Golden). This is a super facility with a large wooden dance floor. Dress 50 's. So grab your pair of old jeans, poodle skirt etc. and lindy on down. Give Ken a ring (303 471-1499) if you would like to carpool. April 20 -- Tuesday -- Monthly Dine-out 7 pm We are having a section blocked off for us at NOODLES (corner of Arapahoe and University). A special menu is being prepared for our group. The buffet will include: appetizers, soup. Caesar salad and choice of two entrees -Japanese Pan Noodles with beef and Penne Rosa with Parmesan Crusted Chicken. Our hostess Janet has twisted her Son's arm (he's CEO of Noodles) to get us a great price approx. $10.00. So don't miss this special dine-out. And check out the new Southglenn "mall" --you won't believe your eyes at how it has been transformed into a trendy community filled with new stores, ,restaurants and up scaled housing.
