We donated $500 to 4 families from New Orleans and the rest was split between the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Here are some important facts about the league to consider: Name of League: Christian Singles Strike Again! 1st & 3rd Sunday evenings beginning at 6:00 p.m. (flexible around holidays.) Sunday, October 16th will be our first event. Bowling will start at 6:00 at The Arapahoe Bowling Center 303-790-BOWL (2695) Go to east on Arapahoe from I-25 2 traffic signals. (This is Dayton where the Shane Company is on the SW corner and Fay Meyer's motorcycle store on the SE corner.) Turn south and Dayton dead ends one block down at the bowling alley and post office. Recreation competition with handicapped scores. 4 Person Teams! Male, Female, or Mixed (team can have 5 or 6 on team and alternate play, or have subs when needed) Teams may be made up from a church single adult class, or just 4 Christian singles from any church. Teams must wear similar colored shirts or have custom shirts or T-shirts made. (awards for best team uniforms!) Computerized scoring with complete stats for each individual and team for each day, current standings, and the entire season. Less than $15 per night includes 3 games and year end prizes. Play should last about 2.5 hours. 16 week (8 month season) Beginning in October if possible. Christian Singles only! 21 yrs old and over invited. Room for up to 20 teams of four players per team. More than one team in a church acceptable. (Competition is between teams, not churches) No alcohol or tobacco permitted by players during competition. Children 6 and above permitted to attend and watch or play video games, but not hang out or sit with team in competition area. Other bylaws pending and presented before season begins.
