Dave will be teaching the Basic Swing to swing and rock & roll music. Then, Lory will be teaching the Country Double 2-Step to country music. Both are triple steps. Open at 7:00 pm Dance Lessons at 7:30 pm Dance starts at 8:00 pm 1st Dance Mixer around 8:30 pm 2nd Dance Mixer around 9:30 pm Close at 11:30 pm There will be Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, Line Dances, Free Style as well as ladies choice dances. Back by popular demand, the Merengue Mixer!! Our DJ will be playing a variety of music from 1950's to the present including rock & roll, disco, 80's R+B, some latin, swing, country and contemporary pop music. Attire: A Little Dressy or Business Casual - this is a more casual dance. Cost: $15 per person (includes ONE FREE DRINK) Meet many different 45+ Singles from different singles groups in the Denver Metro area and other meetup groups including 45+ Singles, 50+ Singles and Boomer Social Network. We get anywhere from 100 to 150 singles at our dances. We have invited lots of NEW SINGLES MEETUP GROUPS and other singles groups in the Denver Metro area to join us. Location: Sheraton Denver Tech Center 7007 South Clinton Greenwood Village, CO off Arapahoe & I-25 Open at 7:00 pm Dance Lesson starts at 7:30 pm Dance starts at 8:00 pm 1st Dance Mixer 8:30 pm 2nd Dance Mixer 9:30 pm Close at 11:30 pm Dance Lesson: SALSA (Beginner) Dance Instructor: Kevin Holroyd & Lory Gallagher We will have 2 Dance Mixers, one of which will be a merengue mixer with latin music (very popular). You get to dance with a different partner every other minute. There will be some Ladies Choice Dances and some Line Dances as well. Large wooden dance floor. Music: Bob Barney, our DJ, will play music from the 1960's to 1990's and also lots of Rock & Roll, some country, more Latin club music and some contemporary music of today. There will not be any rap or classical music at this dance.
